Telstra Directory Assistance on 1223

Telstra Directory Assistance on 1223 is an automated service that provides you with a telephone number when you know the name of the person or business that you are looking for. An optional call connection service is also available.

Call Connect 12456

The Call Connect service is an operator assisted service connecting you to White Pages® and Yellow™ directory listings. You can even find out information about the person or business you need, such as their address, opening hours or website address. This service allows you to be directly connected to the person or business you have requested.

1234 Voice

1234 is a great personally assisted search service, where you can speak to an operator to request White Pages® and Yellow™ directory information, turn by turn directions, weather reports, movie times and much more.

1234 SMS

SMS the number 1-2-3-4 to request the phone number of a person or business, movie times, weather forecasts, Yellow™ information, world times and dialling codes, sports scores, find-a-fact, street directions and others.

Caller ID

Caller ID is the ability to view the number of the person calling you. You can also show or restrict your number when making outgoing calls. To restrict your caller ID permanantly please call Atlas Networks Customer Service.

If you have Caller ID selected but wish to stop your Caller ID being received for the occasional call:
Dial 1831 and then the phone number you wish to call.

If you have chosen not to have Caller ID permanently activated but you wish to present your Caller ID to the party you are calling:
Dial 1832 and then the phone number you wish to call.

VoiceMail

VoiceMail is a personal answering service that allows callers to leave voice messages for you.

To access your Voicemail dial 101

Call Hold/Call Waiting

This service alerts you via an audible 'beep' sent through the handset, that a second call is trying to get through when you are on another call. Users can employ standard key sequences to accept this call by itself, send it an engaged signal or place the current call on "hold" and answer the second call. Call Hold/Wait must be activated on the handset.

To turn the service on follow these steps, or consult your phone's user manual:
Press *43# and 'Send'

To turn the service off:
Press *43# and 'Send'

To answer a 'second' call:
Refer to your handset manufacturer's guide for directions on how to answer a ‘second' call and ‘swap' between calls.
